We are looking a creative, ambitious and focused public health officer who can help us transform our communities.  As our council undergoes significant change and ambitious improvement, you’ll provide vital public health skills and knowledge to the Public Health and Communities Directorate. 

 

Your role in our journey

 

As a Public Health Officer you will support the work by contributing to the development, delivery and evaluation of programmes and projects, and provide skilled input into service transformation, commissioning and contracting.  This will include areas such as Health Improvement, reducing health inequalities and improving the wider determinants that impact on health and wellbeing. This also includes Carer and Customer support and engagement to embed public health principles into our local communities through our Area Council arrangements.
