We have an exciting opportunity for a mental health trainer and coordinator based in our workforce development unit.  The Mental Health Training Coordinator will take the lead in developing and implementing training programmes, producing training plans and for the delivery of mental health training across health and social care. The role will include supporting the Workforce Development Manager in carrying out training needs analysis, designing training courses and materials and for the delivery and/or commissioning of training courses and events. You should be a highly competent mental health professional committed to; your on-going development, working as part of the larger workforce development team and our professional support team and be supportive of multi-agency working. You will hold a recognised social work qualification and be working as a BIA/AMHP, have a current knowledge of legal and legislative changes in mental health and an ability to disseminate this to others. You will maintain your practice base and links with our mental health services by participating in the AMHP/BIA rotas, safeguarding discussions, as well as being a source of professional support to colleagues. We will be committed to helping you plan and continue to develop and progress your career and to support you in carrying out your work.
