37 hours per week, term time only – 18 months Temporary
Mon to Thurs 8am – 4:30pm
Fri – 8am – 3:10pm
(50 mins break daily – 20 mins am / 30 mins lunch)
Scale Point 6, £19,698 pro-rata.
Actual Wage, £16,504.65

We would like to invite applicants for the post of Sports Specialist. This is a role that will allow you to use your passion for sports to inspire our pupils who are aged from 4 – 11 to become active athletes in a school setting which truly values the discipline of P.E. in developing wellbeing and health. This role will provide support to pupils with additional educational needs as well as additional support throughout the school.
You will:
- Have qualifications or equivalent to N.V.Q. Level 3 and a Level 2 sports coaching qualification.
- Have previous experience with children and young people in a sporting / P.E. role.
- Be able to support in the delivery of high quality sporting experiences for all pupils
- Have high expectations of learning and behaviour and inspire and motivate our children
- Be supportive, nurturing and understanding
- Seek to make learning exciting and a positive experience
- Work well as part of a team.
- Demonstrate good communication skills both orally and in writing.
