The Governors at Joseph Locke Primary School are seeking an enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about teaching and learning with the determination to drive our school forward, raising standards and creating outstanding life chances for our pupils.

We are dedicated to providing our pupils with an exciting and stimulating learning environment, and wish to appoint someone who shares our vision and is able to sustain the excellent progress that the children have already achieved. The post is full time, temporary for one year, with the possibility of an extension to contract.

  • A strong, exceptionally focused individual with experience of working in upper key stage 2 and in other areas of the primary key stages also.
  • Passionate about teaching and committed to delivering outstanding learning opportunities. . Confident in maintaining a creative and stimulating curriculum and learning environment.
  • Enthusiastic and dedicated to enabling every child to fulfil their potential.
  • Able to set and achieve high standards and expectations of learning, behaviour and care.
  • Willing to form strong professional relationships with other professionals and parents/carers.
  • Someone who enjoys taking a full part in the wider life of the school.
  • Self-motivated and willing to make a significant contribution to pushing our school from good to outstanding.
