About the Post:

 

 

 

As a Digital Champion you’ll support the change to a digital culture and promote channel shift to digital options. You’ll be working with council staff and elected Members, providing support for digital skills development. You’ll also plan and deliver group sessions to coach, teach and train residents to develop their digital skills.  This involves building strong and effective working relationships with those working on the digital inclusion agenda across a number of different organisations.

 

What you’ll need

 
To join us you’ll need a relevant level 5 qualification. You will also have significant experience in coaching, mentoring and training members of the public and staff. Working as part of a team of digital champions and individually, you will have experience of developing digital training material, delivering and evaluating training. You will be digitally confident and adept with a strong knowledge of the digital inclusion agenda.
 
With strong communication, negotiation skills and interpersonal skills you will have the ability to deal with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and be required to deliver one to one and group support, to enable tenants to develop their digital skills for the future.
