A teaching assistant is required to work in our Early Years.

 

Role: Teaching Assistant

Start date: Commencing ASAP
Contract: Band 1, Permanent, 30 hours per week, term time only plus 4 Inset days

Salary: £12,143

 

Purpose of the post: 

To work in partnership with the Early Years team to deliver an outstanding Early Years curriculum

Work in partnership with the class teacher to ensure the classroom environment is purposeful

Contribute to observations which form an integral part of assessment in the Early Years.

 

We want someone who can: 

  • Establish productive working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high expectations
  • Support the school’s agreed policies and procedures for behaviour and safeguarding
  • Work as part of a team
  • Work in Early Years and has an understanding of the Early Years Curriculum

For the above post, we are seeking an individual who: 

  • Has excellent inter-personal skills 
  • Embrace our vision and ethos 
  • Demonstrates a real passion for improving children's life chances
  • Engages with and supports our children and families 
  • Is able to use their initiative
