We are seeking an enthusiastic Commercial Property Manager, with full Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, whom is willing to take on varied and challenging tasks. Working as part of the management team, you will support the Group Leader Estates in the delivery of the Council’s Corporate Objectives through the Asset Management Plan and other Corporate Plans and Strategies.

As Commercial Property Manager you will be required to have the management and supervisory responsibility for a small team of professional staff

You will be responsible for ensuring the best commercial return is obtained from the commercial income generating portfolio considering employment creation and regeneration initiatives and deal with all contractual events, manage revenue, service charges and debt recovery.

This will involve the new Glassworks shopping centre retail units as well as the commercial business units and our heritage estate
