EYFS Teaching Assistant

Grade 2, Point 10 - Actual Salary: £11,344

Temporary, to cover maternity leave, from January 2019.

30 hours per week (including lunchtime supervision) – term time only 


The school Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and flexible person to support and motivate children and to be part of our outstanding school. The post requires the successful candidate to support a range of children within the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Applicants must have:

• Recent experience of working with children in the EYFS or Primary phase
• Relevant qualifications for the post
• The ability to assist the teacher with a range of learning activities and support pupils in their learning, as directed
• A good sense of humour, approachable, flexible and able to work as part of a committed team.

Visits to the school’s infant site are warmly welcomed and encouraged. Dates will be, Monday 3rd December at 4pm and Wednesday 5th December at @ 4pm.

Short-listing will take place on: Tuesday 11th December 2018

Interviews will be held: Tuesday 18th December 2018

Interviews will include a small group teaching task and a personal interview.
