Contract:               Full time

Hours of Work:      35 hours per week, 39 weeks term time.

Salary Range:       Grade 4 Points 7 – 11 (£20444-£22129)

Actual Salary:        £16456 - £17813 per annum

Start Date:             September 2022

 

About the role:

 

We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join our SEND team who has the determination and enthusiasm to make a difference in the life of each and every student you work with.  You will share our vision and will have the ability to inspire our young people to achieve more than they believe is possible.  We are looking for someone to support our students specifically with Mathematics

 

As a school, we pride ourselves on innovative practice which is fully inclusive and provides opportunities for all.  A school where the standard of teaching and learning is consistently high and where every member of staff, regardless of their role, shares a commitment to the success of all students, both academically and pastorally. Learning Support Assistants work with students with a variety of special educational needs and disabilities which may include emotional and behavioural, physical, learning, medical and communication difficulties. This will be both in the classroom mainstream school setting and with small groups of students.

 

The successful candidate should have previous experience of working with students with a variety of needs and will be excited at the opportunity of developing their career. A Level Mathematics or a good grade at GCSE would be advantageous.
