About the Post:
We are seeking to appoint an ambitious Technician to join our team. The role is a technical role and may be located within the Corporate side of IT which is based in Barnsley supporting Council colleagues and service users and also within Code Green who are a Traded Service within Barnsley Council delivering IT support services to Schools, Academies and Small/Medium Enterprises across Yorkshire and the Humber.
The successful applicant must be dynamic and have excellent troubleshooting skills with a key focus on customer service and be confident to work alone or in a team environment.
It is also essential that candidates are committed to continued professional development which will be supported via a robust performance management programme
