About the Post:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, determined leader with considerable financial services experience and commercial acumen.

Following the implementation of a new financial services structure a number of exciting senior opportunities have arisen to join the team. The successful candidate(s) will play a leading role in ensuring we continue to deliver high quality financial advice and services. We are looking for a dedicated individual(s) with excellent leadership and management skills.

Candidates will hold an accounting qualification to a minimum level 4 (AAT or other) but with considerable financial knowledge and expertise. You should have the ability to manage change in a fast paced, changing environment. The position is structured to allow for growth and development and therefore we are seeking individuals who are looking for their next career opportunity.

A strong vision and core values are essential components in helping us drive forward the objectives of the Finance business plan; specifically embedding efficiencies and securing continuous improvement. We are looking for a confident leader who thrives on a challenge and is willing to take decisions and managed risks. You’ll demonstrate an unwavering commitment to grow our business and work effectively with partners and customers by actively representing the Council’s S151 Officer across its many forums.
