HUNSHELF PARISH COUNCIL
Clerk & Responsible Financial Officer
Part Time: 3 hours per week
Appointment from 1st April 2019.
Hunshelf Parish Council is an active Council that seeks a highly motivated, enthusiastic person to take on the post of Clerk to the Council and Responsible Financial Officer.
The post is part time, 3 hours per week (to be reviewed retrospectively in 6 months after the post commences). Working mainly from home, the hours of work are flexible except for attendance at meetings.
Salary on pay scale New Scale SCP 6 to SCP 12 ( Old SCP 17 to SCP 22) dependent upon qualifications and experience. A further two increments (SCP 13 and 14) are available for Clerks who achieve the CILA qualification.
Must be IT literate.
Must be able to store Council equipment and files at home address and be available to attend Council meetings in the evenings. .
Duties will include: acting as advisor to the council, minute taking, and compilation of correspondence, filing and accounts.
Prior relevant experience an advantage but training in all aspects of local government administration, leading to CiLCA qualification will be provided.
