Please note that due to the nature of this position and the need to work with specific equipment, we are unfortunately unable to accept applications from individuals under the age of 18.

We are looking to recruit a group of enthusiastic, hardworking individuals to work on an as needed basis covering absences of employees for any of our school kitchens.

Hours vary from 1 hour to 2 hours per day and are over lunchtime period in school term.

As our service operates throughout the Barnsley area you could be asked to work at any of our schools, however the candidate’s ability to travel will be taken into consideration when assigning placements.

The work is varied and may include basic food preparation, setting up of dining areas, serving of meals and all associated cleaning duties in a busy kitchen.

Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable but not essential. Training is provided.
