About the Post:

Barnsley Family Centre’s are looking for highly committed and motivated individuals qualified to level 3 in a relevant field to join our outreach team.

You will be organised and enthusiastic and you will actively target families, registering targeted groups and effectively engaging them within services and activities.

You will be proactive in engaging families with children aged 0-25 years into the Family Centre offer.

You will be part of a wider Family Centre team, who together, are offering early help to some of our most vulnerable families in the central area.

The role will include working and travelling across Barnsley targeting, planning and delivering a range of outreach activities in different venues across the locality.

You will be an excellent communicator who is able to develop relationships with parents, professionals and the wider team.

You will have an understanding of safeguarding and be able to adhere to safeguarding policy.

A flexible approach is essential for this post.
