Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Mapplewell Primary School


Contract: 30 hours per week during term time plus 2 Inset Days

Salary: Grade 6   

Start Date: As soon as possible

 

 

We are currently seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, high quality HLTA who has the appropriate skills and experience to provide cover across whole school. The successful candidate will work closely and effectively with both teaching staff and support staff across all areas of the school.

Applicants must be committed to high standards in all areas and have high expectations of all pupils in terms of progress, attainment, attitudes and behaviour.

 

Applicants must have 2 GCSEs at grade A to C in English and Maths or equivalent and gained HLTA status or be working towards with a commitment to achieving the status within 12 months of starting the programme.

 

Mapplewell Primary School is now part of the Hoyland Common Academy Trust (HCAT) and works in close partnership with other schools within the trust.   HCAT is rooted in ensuring that children receive world-class education. Children get one chance at their school education and we believe that, by schools working effectively in collaboration, we can ensure that one chance unlocks the potential for lifelong learning for all of our children.
