Prospective employees will be required to give a reasonable account of any significant periods (6 months or more in the past 3 years) of time living abroad. 

 

 

Pensions Regulations have provisions to reduce pension payments in certain circumstances of those who return to work within local government service.  If you are in receipt of a pension upon commencing employment with the authority, this may affect your pension entitlements and you should therefore seek advice from the relevant Pensions Authority.

Let’s start with you… you’ll need to hit the ground running with your focus being service management as you’ll have operational responsibility for leading a strong team to deliver excellent professional services that deals with some of the most important life events of our customers; births, deaths and marriages.

 

We’re on the lookout for someone with Registration Service experience who’ll be super passionate about delivering excellent customer service and focused on getting the team excited about the journey we are to embark – transforming registration services into the 21st century.

 

What you’ll do… as our Registration Services Manager and Superintendent Registrar you’ll be responsible for leading and inspiring your team to transform and modernise the service. 

As the service brings in significant income, you must have a creative approach to delivering services, keeping pace with change and looking for new opportunities to widen the customer offer.

 

You’ll do great if you combine the following experience, skills and attributes:

 

  • Delivery of high performing, high quality registration services
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of all things registration
  • Work under pressure and to a high standard
  • Transforming services and communicating positive change
