Customer Service Apprentice

 

The successful candidate will work alongside Customer Service Advisors, to provide a high-quality service to customers through handling customer enquiries via the phone, webchat, social media, and e-mail.

Your role in our journey

 

As a Customer Service Apprentice, you will respond to customer enquiries over the phone, webchat, social media, and e-mail, take payments from customers and complete general administrative tasks.  You’ll understand the importance of speaking positively and providing clear explanations to customers to ensure that all our customers receive a positive experience. In line with our Strategies, you will positively promote the use of the council’s digital and self-service options.

 

What you’ll need

 

To join us; you’ll need GCSE (9-4) in Maths and English or equivalent/or GCSE (D-F or 1-3) and working towards achieving GCSE grade 4 along with a willingness to achieve a Level 2 Customer Service qualification at the end of the apprenticeship. You will have experience in communicating with others, problem solving and working independently and as part of the team and be open to all feedback.
