Salary: £22,183 - £24,491  Plus laptop 

Working Arrangements: Monday - Friday, occasional weekend working inc. Agile Working

Hours per week: 37

Contract type: Fixed Term for 12 months

We are looking for a committed, dynamic and flexible individual to help us communicate with the public about the key COVID-19 messages and make contact with people who need support locally.  As our Council continues to manage and respond to the impacts of COVID-19, you’ll provide vital skills and knowledge within our Public Health team working with colleagues across the Council.    

Your role in our journey

 As a Public Health Support Practitioner, you will be a key part of our local COVID-19 support service, delivering a high quality, efficient and effective customer focused service, whilst adopting a digital first approach. Your scope of work will include supporting the COVID-19 support service to provide timely and accurate support to our residents.  You will also contribute to other elements of the support service to help prevent further outbreaks of COVID-19. You will work alongside public health colleagues on a range of programs, including but not limited to; testing, contact tracing, vaccinations and local support.
