About the post:

The Sheffield City Region is a strong public-private partnership tasked with driving economic growth across the city region’s economy. With a programme totalling over £1bn to invest in our economy, a growing base of innovative and enterprising high value businesses and an ambitious forward strategy, there is no doubt that this is an exciting time to be part of the Sheffield City Region Executive Team.

The SCR Executive Team is now recruiting for a Senior Programme Manager – Enterprise & Innovation (Salary £41,025 - £43,821).

We are seeking a dynamic manager with public/private partnership experience to develop the SCR enterprise and innovation agenda, ensuring that the City Region’s current and future businesses can access appropriate support to grow.

Demonstrating a strong understanding of key issues which both accelerate and inhibit business growth, we are seeking someone with the ability to identify new opportunities for programme development and turn our strategy into action. Your deep knowledge of enterprise and the innovation landscape will be matched by insight into local and national strategy, economic policy and business support structures.

With keen project development and management skills, you should be experienced in leading multi-agency schemes and performance improvement. Comfortable working across a variety of public and private partner organisations, you will be a persuasive and credible communicator with well-developed negotiating and presentation skills.
