About the Post:
Barnsley Museums is seeking an enthusiastic
and experienced Commercial Development Assistant to lead on our retail offer
across five museum and heritage sites.
The candidate will have experience in the
retail sector, a passion for arts and heritage and exceptional customer service
skills. We're looking for someone who
is organised with an eye for detail, with a finger on the pulse of retail
trends and commercial opportunities.
You will work with the wider commercial
team delivering weddings and high- profile events so must be able to work
flexibly, adapting your skills to a range of situations when dealing with the
public and colleagues. This role is ideal for someone keen to get involved in
commercial development within the museums and heritage sector.
