As a trust we are excited to have been chosen by the Department for Education as their approved sponsor to open a new secondary school to support the increasing population of Barnsley.  In September 2021 Trinity Academy St Edward’s will open its doors to a founding cohort of Year 7 students from across the town.

We are now looking for a Science Technician to join our team.  As Science Technician you will support the science department in the preparation of materials for lessons including assembling apparatus, assisting and supporting students and teachers and promoting the observance of a safe and healthy working environment.  

What we need?

  •  4 or more GCSEs at grade C or above including English and Maths (or equivalent)
  •  Experience in a similar role
  •  Knowledge of equipment used in science and health and safety processes and procedures.
