School Crossing Patrol - Birdwell Primary | £9.79 per hour
Part Time / Permanent, Environment and Transport

Closing Date: 12/08/2022 | Job Ref: C/50009363 | Directorate: Place | Service: Environment & Transport | Location: Sheffield Road, Birdwell, Barnsley, South Yorkshire (This would be the normal base of work for this role, however, due to the current Government guidance around social distancing and our evolving ways of working, this means that you may be required to work remotely (e.g. from home/other locations). We will discuss this with you during the recruitment process.)

Salary: £9.79 per hour

Working Arrangements: Monday to Friday - one hour per day approx. 30 mins AM and 30 mins PM - Term Time

Hours per week: 5

Contract type: Permanent

The successful candidate will be required to speak English to an appropriate standard.

 

This post requires an Enhanced DBS Check

About the Post:

 

Being a school crossing patrol can be very rewarding, you will be playing a vital role in the community helping to ensure that children and other members of the school community get to and from school safely.

 

You will need good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with children, young people, parents and school staff etc. You will also need the ability to work under your own initiative within set guidelines and be able to maintain confidentiality
