About the Post:
Barnsley Family Centre’s are looking for highly committed and motivated individuals for the post of Outreach Worker.
37 hours Monday to Friday based between Lundwood & Grimethorpe Family Centre fixed term to 31.12.2020. 18.5 hours at Grimethorpe Family Centre to cover maternity leave for up to one year, 18.5 hours permanent at Central Family Centre and 18.5 at Darfield Family Centre to cover maternity leave for up to one year.
All posts require some evening and weekend work.
As an organised and enthusiastic individual you will actively target families, registering targeted groups and effectively engaging them within Family Centre services and activities. Great communication skills and a flexible approach are essential.
