Hours: 27.5 hours per week - Term Time only plus 2 inset days

This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful, experienced and highly motivated team.  
The Governing Body at Kexborough Primary are seeking to appoint a well-motivated, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant. Applications are welcome from passionate, creative, experienced candidates who have the skills to promote, support and encourage pupils, some of which may have barriers to learning due to SEN.  This position is initially to KS1 and will involve supporting children in receipt of an EHCP on a one to one basis as well as supporting whole class teaching and groups of pupils.

You will have at least 2 GCSEs (Grades A – C) including English and Mathematics or equivalent.

Applicants must have experience of working with children and the post requires a minimum qualification of NVQ Level 2 in Teaching Assistant or equivalent. You must demonstrate a professional attitude and will be expected to fully participate in the life of the school.

 

Kexborough Primary School is part of the Every Child Matters Academy Trust and works in close partnership with other schools within the trust.
