An opportunity has arisen to join the diverse and multi skilled Business Support team in Barnsley Council. The role will provide business support to various teams, including finance, responding to telephone and face to face enquiries, providing advice, guidance, signposting and support to internal and external customers and providing support to the wider services, on a relief basis, providing support as and when required. The successful post holder may also be asked to cover business support duties at a range of sites across the borough.
You will need to hold a level 2 qualification and have a business support background with an understanding of servicing meetings.
You will be flexible in your approach in order to ensure the overall service objectives are achieved, be an excellent team player and willing to make a solid contribution to the smooth running of the service.
