Your role in our journey

As a Family Support Worker you will use your excellent assessment and communication skills providing one to one and group work support to families through our network of family centres. You will facilitate tailored, evidence based interventions to meet the diverse of needs of individuals; ensuring that families are supported in improving their life chances. Accurate and comprehensive recording skills are essential to this role.

You will work collaboratively within a multi-agency team championing Early Help and integrated services at all times.

What you’ll need

A level 4 qualification in a relevant field along with relevant experience of working with children, young people and families in the community. You will also have the ability to engage effectively with the local community to deliver information, advice and support to improve outcomes for children, young people and families.

Your communication skills, flexible approach and flair for building relationships will really set you apart.
