We are seeking to appoint a strong EYFS Lead to join our supportive and committed staff team. Mapplewell Primary School is an inclusive, forward thinking primary school with happy, well-engaged children and committed staff members.

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and imaginative leader who:

  • can demonstrate and model strong practice with a passion for working with children
  • will be a team player whilst leading by example and supporting those in their team to ensure excellence is provided for all children
  • can successfully lead improvement priorities and standards
  • can demonstrate strong literacy, numeracy and ICT skills as well as having a creative vision to ensure inspiring, engaging and motivating lessons are developed
  • has a good understanding of the way children develop and learn
  • can adapt lessons to meet the needs of the children they are working with
  • is committed to nurturing the development of children, by having an excellent rapport with children, parents and carers
  • is willing to go the extra mile to ensure that all children achieve as highly as possible
  • has the ability to forge excellent relationships with colleagues, parents and most importantly, our children
