As a trust we are excited to have been chosen by the Department for Education as their approved sponsor to open a new secondary school to support the increasing population of Barnsley.  In September 2021 Trinity Academy St Edward’s will open its doors to a founding cohort of Year 7 students from across the town.

We are now seeking a Catering Manager to lead the catering team to deliver a high-quality catering service for students, staff and visitors to the Academy, whilst ensuring high standards for health, safety and food hygiene.

This is an exciting time to be part of a founding team of committed and passionate individuals who will have the opportunity to grow and develop alongside the school itself.   

 What we need?

  •  Catering or hospitality qualification to level 2 or higher 
  •  Good numeracy and literacy skills 
  •  Experience of working within a commercial kitchen environment 
  •  Experience of leading a team 
  •  Experience in developing nutritionally balanced and varied menus
  •  Knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety processes and procedures
