TEACHING ASSISTANT (Classroom and SEND support)

Temporary to August 31st 2021

30 hours per week term time only

Salary: £12,230 - £12,475 Grade 2 (£18,065 - £18,426 FTE)

 

The Governors, staff and pupils at Springvale Primary School are excited to be recruiting for a Grade 2 Teaching Assistant who can meet the needs of our fantastic children and community.  We are seeking ambitious and driven professionals who are willing to work with us in our journey to outstanding and support us in driving forward our school aims to ensure that every child reaches their full potential.  The applicant needs to be committed to ensuring the highest standards in children's education by working as part of a brilliant team to ensure that the wellbeing, behaviour and personal development of pupils enhances their learning opportunities and life skills. 

 

Successful applicants must be willing to work alongside children with a range of Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) to plan for and deliver tailored and personalised interventions that allow all children to access a high quality mainstream education, as well as supporting all children to develop socially during outdoor play. 

 

Candidates will ideally have experience or interest in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The successful candidate will have the children at the heart of everything that they do. And a passion for continued professional development.    

 

Applicants must have at least 2 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above including English and Maths.
