We are looking for a systems support officer to take care of our suite of customer facing software packages. Our portfolio consists of various websites, a customer relationship management system, an SMS texting solution and our call centre telephony system. These systems are crucial to us being able to provide our 650+ services to our customers.

We need someone who is capable of handling a fast paced service desk operation, providing second level support to our client base of around 3,000 employees and partners agencies.

You’ll liaise with varying teams of people from those helping adults with social care needs, to those working with children in schools. All are looking for help in the way of advice, guidance and real-time systems configuration. Our clients will come to know you as the go-to person for technical support within the team.

You’ll work in our Systems Support Officer role, reporting to one of our Senior Developers and be ultimately responsible to our Web & Mediated Applications Manager in the Information Services department, specifically working in the Web & Mediated Applications Team.
 
You’ll identify trends and patterns in incoming support calls, produce regular reports and analyse statistical data to steer and shape a more effective ICT support operation.
 
Note that this is a technical role and we’re looking for someone with strong analytical and communication skills. You will be expected to reconfigure systems where possible and produce requirements specifications for software packages.
