Barnsley Council is looking to recruit four Benefits, Taxation & Income Officers. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to work in the Council’s Financial Services section. The successful candidates will assist the Council in providing a comprehensive Benefits, Taxation and Income Service, which includes the assessment of housing benefits and council tax support, billing and recovery of council tax, non- domestic rates and sundry debt. The assessment of free school meals and the recovery of monies owed to the council.
We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic individuals with experience of working in a financial services environment. You will need the ability to communicate on all levels and possess excellent customer service skills.
