Working Arrangements: Part Time, Permanent, this role is non-class based for 2 days per week
  

Summer Lane Primary are currently recruiting for a SENCO who will lead, develop and support effective practice for pupils with the full range of additional learning needs to ensure their needs are addressed in the most effective way and, where appropriate, they are able to make rapid progress in line with the school’s expectations.

You will have:
• The National SENCO qualification and have excellent knowledge of the SEN Code of Practice.
• A certificate / degree in education.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• The ability to motivate and inspire pupils.
• The commitment and enthusiasm for the teaching and development of all pupils particularly those with SEND.
• Creative teaching skills and a professional approach.
• The resolve to make a real difference to the lives of pupils.
• High expectations of pupils and yourself.
• The determination to raise student achievement and aspirations.

Closing date: Friday 24th April. Interviews will take place the week commencing 27th April.
