Provide Education are a leading Barnsley based education recruitment agency placing Teachers, Teaching Assistants and Early Years Practitioners into many schools in the Barnsley and surrounding areas.

We are experiencing an unprecedented demand for teaching staff and support staff across Barnsley. We are urgently and continually recruiting for teaching and non-teaching staff for many of our schools in the Barnsley area. Please see below a breakdown of our current requirements.

Primary Teachers

We have an URGENT need for primary teachers in the Barnsley area on a day to day basis in addition to a large number of long term roles to start immediately. We have a variety of long term roles which vary in length – half a term, full terms and others that are likely to go on for a full academic year. They include roles within Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 and also include part time and full time placements.

We also have a very high demand for primary teachers who are only seeking work on a day to day / ad hoc basis who like the flexibility that daily assignments can offer. This can include emergency cover bookings (same day bookings) and advanced daily cover bookings to cover permanent members of staff who are off for day to day bookings/courses etc.

Our schools would be delighted to hear from enthusiastic Newly Qualified Teachers AND experienced teachers who are keen to secure work.

Secondary Teachers

We also have a number of teaching positions within secondary schools in various subjects. We are currently recruiting for the following subjects; Maths, English, Science, Design Technology, Food Technology, IT, MFL and Humanities. We are extremely keen to hear from enthusiastic teachers with a passion for teaching.

If you hold QTS status (or its pending) and have excellent classroom management skills then we would be delighted to hear from you.

School Support Positions

We are also experiencing an extremely high demand for support roles within the local area.

• Secondary Cover Supervisors – Strong classroom management, flexibility and the ability to forge good relationships are essential for this role

• HLTA’s – currently in high demand in primary schools across Yorkshire

• Early Years Practitioners (Nursery Nurses) – Cache Level 2 and Level 3 certificates (or equivalent)

• Teaching Assistants – Experience working within a school based environment and roles available within Primary Schools (Foundation Stage, KS1 and KS2) and Secondary Schools

• Administration Staff / Business Managers – experience of working within schools essential

• Lunchtime Supervisors

• Science Technicians

• Caretakers

All candidates will need to attend a face to face registration meeting at our offices in Barnsley and must either hold a valid enhanced DBS check (which can be checked using the update service) or be willing to undertake a DBS check through Provide Education. We would highly recommend registering with us as soon as possible so we can work at clearing your file ready for work.
