The Sheffield City Region LEP working with the Combined Authority secured a £320 million Growth Deal for Sheffield City Region, the fifth most substantial Growth Deal that any City Region has made with Government. More latterly Sheffield City Region has agreed on a Devolution Deal with Government, which will give local authority and business leaders’ greater say over how they grow the local economy.

SCR aspirations is for a simplified skills, education and employment programme that delivers better employment and training outcomes for the residents and businesses of SCR. The Economic Policy and Delivery Officer has a critical role in the development and implementation of programmes across the skills, education and employment remit, working closely with businesses, Local Authorities and other stakeholders.
