Family Hub Engagement Practitioner

Your role in our journey 

As a highly committed and motivated individual you will be proactive in engaging families with children aged 0-25 years into the Family Centre offer.  
You will be part of a wider Family Hub team, to actively target and engage families with children aged 0-19 (25 SEND), including marginalised groups. You will facilitate registration and engagement of families in Family Hubs, supporting people to access the services and interventions they need to build their resilience and gain confidence, whilst working alongside wider services to ensure families can access the right support, at the right time. You will Deliver universal and targeted Family Hubs and Start for Life activities to enable families to meet their full potential. 
 
The role will include working and travelling across the Barnsley targeting, planning and delivering a range of outreach activities in different venues across the locality.  
 
What you’ll need  

Alongside a Level 3 qualification or substantial experience in a relevant field and will need to evidence that you have relevant experience of working with children, young people and their families.  

 

Your communication skills, flexible approach and flair for building relationships will really set you apart.  
You will have an understanding of safeguarding and be able to adhere to safeguarding policy.  

You will have an understanding of services provided by Family Hubs within the scope of Early intervention and prevention
