About the Post:
Are you passionate about community growing and confident to tackle the day-to-day challenges associated with allotments management?
If so, Neighbourhood Services are seeking a highly motivated and experienced officer to support our allotment service and tenants, and help manage our provision.
In this varied role, you’ll be dealing with everything from enquiries and tenancy issues to disputes, site visits & inspections, and plot related concerns. You’ll manage cases from first contact through to resolutionusing clear communication, fair decision making, and accurate record keepingto ensureappropriate outcomes.
You’ll be the key link between the council and allotment tenants, offering guidance, liaising with community groups, and helping maintain safe, welcoming and well-run allotment sites.
Neighbourhood Service is responsible for 63 allotmentsites with c2000 plots being available across the 329km2 of our borough, therefore the ability to effectivelynavigate the borough is essential.
