PREMISES MANAGER REQUIRED
To start as soon as possible
Grade 6, 30 hours per week
Salary range - scale point 18-23, £31,537-£34,434 (pro-rata)
Actual Starting Salary £25,570 (£16.35 per hour)
We are seeking to appoint a School Premises Manager to support the Headteacher to provide a safe, secure, clean and well-maintained environment for pupils, staff and visitors. This includes:
- Strategic management of the school site, buildings and grounds.
- Leading on health and safety, compliance, and statutory testing.
- Supervising the premises team and external contractors.
- Managing site security and access.
- Contributing to the long-term development and effective use of school premises.
- Contributing to the overall ethos, aims and values of the school
This is a diverse and hands-on role and we are interested in hearing from people who:

Daily working patterns will be split between the start and end of the school day. 30 Hours Split Shift 7am to 9.30am and 2.30pm – 6pm (there may be some flexibility around these hours which can be discussed at interview)
Previous experience of building maintenance/supervision, including experience of regulatory testing and working in a school environment is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided in key areas such as legionella monitoring, asbestos awareness, and fire procedures.
