About the Post:
This is an exciting time to join Barnsley Children and Family Social Care Service who are seeking to recruit A Team Manager to join our Practice development hub within Children and Young people’s services.
There has been a recent and significant financial investment of £9 million into delivering the vision for Children’s Services in Barnsley.

We are looking for an inspirational and motivated manager to lead our recently formed Practice Development Hub, managing a team of Advanced Practitioners, dedicated to driving and delivering our continuous professional development and training offer for children’s services.
In this role you will:
· Develop and drive continuous professional development across children’s services
· Take the lead on our student and ASYE offer, developing strong partnerships with providers, Skills for Care and partners.
· Play a key role in workforce development
· Lead and supervise the Practice Development Team
You will have;
· Significant post qualification experience
· Experience of supporting and supervising staff
· A commitment to supporting the learning and development of others
· A recognised social work qualification and registered with SWE
You will receive regular supervision, appraisal, training and development opportunities, all aimed at promoting positive outcomes for children and supporting your career development and progression.
