About the Post:
An opportunity has arisen to join our Public Health Directorate as the Management Support Officer to the Head of Public Health/Clinical Director of South Yorkshire CYP Alliance on a full time 12 month fixed term basis to cover Maternity Leave. Providing a comprehensive and efficient business support service to enable the fulfilment of the dual roles effectively in the context of working across health and local authority at place and South Yorkshire levels.

Your role in our journey
As a Management Support Officer, you will provide a high-quality business support service, the post holder will be the first point of contact for all forms of communication for the Head of Public Health/Clinical Director and will be expected to prioritise their workload using judgement and initiative.
The post holder will be responsible for diary and email management using personal judgement to plan ahead and manage commitments in a fast-paced working environment. You will arrange and service meetings taking, transcribing and distributing accurate minutes and following up any actions deemed appropriate.
The post will be required to work across teams within the Local Authority and NHS, this interesting and varied role requires you to work well on your own initiative whilst being committed to teamwork. Good communication skills and the ability to deal with confidential and sensitive issues in a professional manner are essential.

What you’ll need
To join us, you’ll need be educated to Level 3 and have considerable administration experience including being skilled in Microsoft packages, communication and minute-taking whilst managing a challenging and diverse workload
