Position Overview:
We are excited to be recruiting to a permanent Shared Lives Officer role here in Barnsley.
We are seeking an ambitious, motivated and aspirational practitioner to join our Shared Lives team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, understand the requirements of a CQC Regulated Service and have experience of working with adults with additional needs. The preferred candidate should demonstrate knowledge of Shared Lives, will be able to meet the demands of a fast-paced working environment and should understand the ethos of supporting the delivery of high-quality support within a regulated service. We are committed to delivering the best outcomes for our customers, they are at the centre of all we do and our practices are underpinned by a strength-based approach within a strong and supportive team culture.
In your role you will:

Supervise and manage a carer caseload including any specific action plans that may require additional support ensuring compliance with the Carer Handbook and identified policies and procedures

Complete / develop Support Plans incorporating risk assessments where necessary to safeguard service users, carers and the Shared Lives Service

Support any operational issues that arise as part of your caseload with a responsive, person-centred approach
