We have an incredible opportunity for an inspirational leader to join the Every Child Matters Academy Trust as the Headteacher at Athersley South Pimary School. This warm and welcoming school serves a population of 307 students, between the ages of 3 and 11. Situated on Wakefield Road in Athersley South in Barnsley, Athersley South offers a wonderful opportunity for any current or aspiring Headteacher to continue to create a school that is a hub of innovation and creativity that inspires learners and develops life-long learning for the future alongside the exceptionally skilled school and Trust staff.

The Headteacher will be responsible for ensuring the educational success of the school, enabling all students to achieve their potential. They will provide professional leadership and management and establish a culture that promotes excellence, equality and high expectations of all pupils.

· has experience in performance management and data analysis
· is willing to make an effective commitment to the school and Trust
· is resilient and an effective classroom practitioner
· has a desire to play an active part in the strategic development of the school and the Trust
