Improving the opportunities for residents in Sheffield City Region is critical for the delivery of our plans for the economy. The SCR Executive Team is now recruiting for an Assistant Director, Skills, Employment & Education (Salary £55,187 - £59,612). This role will lead the delivery of transformation in skills, education and employment in the area, with a particular focus on helping to drive the change towards a higher level skills based economy which also provides everyone with the ability to access opportunities.

The Sheffield City Region is a strong public-private partnership tasked with driving economic growth across the city region’s economy. With a programme totalling over £1bn to invest in our economy, a growing base of high value businesses and an ambitious forward strategy, this is an exciting time to be part of the Sheffield City Region Executive Team.
